

It begins at part of a large 300 meter wide by 100 meter tall tower that is a portion of the dungeon that leads to the 2 nd Floor. The 1 st Floor Labyrinth is located on the far northern edge of the floor. Players must pass through either of the two regions before reaching a significantly more dangerous mountainous region containing ruins, valleys, and more difficult monsters. To the northwest of the Town of Beginnings, there is a deep forest region. Worms, beetles, and wasp-type insect monsters also inhabit the grasslands surrounding the Town of Beginnings.

Grasslands surround the Town of Beginnings, and they are populated primarily by boar and wolf-type monsters.

The city wall forms a semi-circle to the north. The metropolis encompasses twenty percent of the floor's surface area and is the focal point of the floor, featuring the teleport gate in the central plaza. The Town of Beginnings is located on the southern end of the floor and rests over the edge of the floating castle. As the starting location of all new players, the great expanse of the 1 st Floor is quite diverse. That is why we dedicate our time, energy and effort into this project.Unlike the higher floors of Aincrad, the 1 st Floor does not have a particular theme or dominant geography. The size of the project can become considerably smaller while keeping the same level of immersion, fun and quality that all MMO players enjoy. We are not restrained by a publisher that only wants to make money out of the game and is afraid of utilising a different approach. We have the freedom to take a different path, not one that current AAA developers take today. This very idea is why we believe that indie developers like us can create this game. We would like to show the gaming community that a MMORPG can have different mechanics, a different game-play experience. We do not agree with this, a player should be able to enjoy and appreciate the time they invest in the game from start to max level. Progression in MMO games has started to be defined as grinding through the whole game, then having fun at max level.

These are keywords used by almost every publisher, however they don't appear in the game themselves. Exploration, adventure, immersion and fun. Our goal is to overhaul this idea and create a totally new MMORPG with our own view on what an MMORPG should be. Right now, most have almost the same code structure, only using different models, levels and graphic styles. We are unsatisfied by the way MMORPGs are currently created. All donations are invested into the project. We are currently not gathering funds for personal gains. Age of Aincrad is a MMOARPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Action Role Playing Game), inspired by the popular anime series Sword Art Online.
